It's a Wild World

It seems that "the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens", now known as Yusuf Islam, had a little trouble entering the country yesterday. I doubt that he is on the Terror Watch list for anything he has done - unless you count his support for the "hit" on author Salman Rushdie, which was ordered by the Ayatollah Khomeini. He's either on the list because he hangs out with one or more people of interest or, like Ted Kennedy, he has the misfortune of having the same name (or pseudonym) as a known terror suspect. Since they are deporting Mr. Islam today, I doubt it was a case of mistaken identity. Pick your friends carefully.
