Burning Bridges Before He Crosses

John Kerry has found a new way to demonstrate his incompetence in foreign policy. Apparently he was not satisfied with insulting the nations of Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Estonia, Georgia, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, South Korea, Thailand, Tonga, and Ukraine by calling them "coalition of the coerced and the bribed". Today, he decided that it would make him look more presidential to insult the Iraqi Prime Minister Allawi by saying he was lying about the situation in Iraq. PM Allawi, after all, only LIVES in Iraq where his life is threatened 24/7 by the same people who carry out ritual human sacrifices by beheading the innocent. Kerry, on the other hand, has to navigate a minefield of "clumsy" Secret Service Agents, improperly chilled Chardonnay and $1,000 haircuts. His only daily fear is what his shoot-from-the-lip condiment heiress/wife might say in front of a live microphone. What could he possibly know about the "real" situation in Iraq that Mr. Allawi doesn't? That's right. Nothing.
